• Fratton Park pitch fails inspection due to waterlogging• Matches in England and Scotland affected as well as racingPortsmouth's Premier League match against Birmingham is the most high profile casualty on another day of weather-enforced postponements. The pitch at Fratton Park failed a 10am inspection due to waterlogging.Last week the cold weather caused a huge list of postponements due to frozen pitches, but the resulting thaw has resulted made many pitches unplayable.Three League One matches were postponed: Tranmere v Yeovil, Stopckport v Oldham and Leyton Orien v Bristol Rovers the casualties.Three League Two matches also fell victim to the weather this morning, among them were the fixtures between Macclesfield and Northampton, Accrington and Rotherham, and Rochdale and Port Vale. Those were added to an already extensive list of today's fixtures postponed following inspections yesterday.However, the surface at Barnet's Underhill ground passed an inspection this morning and their game against Lincoln goes ahead.In racing, this afternoon's fixture at Naas was cancelled due to a waterlogged track. The meeting will now be staged on Tuesday.
